Every project has a unique set of requirements, but following the framework below sets every piece of content we create up for success. Discovery

Understanding your organization

For the team at Bold Creative Media to arrive at an effective concept, we first need to have a clear understanding of your organization, your values, and what you hope to achieve. We’re also interested in who you’re trying to target and were you’ll be trying to reach them. If you’re unsure, that’s not a problem. We’re happy to put our years of experience into practice and guide the discovery process. This information gathering stage also gives us the opportunity to meet, face to face, and make sure we’re a good fit for collaboration!

 

Concept

Formulating the right story

Now that we clearly understand your organization, it’s values, and it’s specific goals for the project, our team can hit the drawing board and come up with a strong concept for the project. This part of the process isn’t as simple as coming up with an idea, we come up with an idea that’s backed by research on your target audience, finding out what marketing videos and campaigns are working for the demographic. The platform of distribution is also a big factor. While a concept might hit all the right notes for your target audience, there’s still a chance it won’t perform well if it’s not tailored for your platform of choice.

Getting it all on paper

At this stage of the process, we’ll send over a document that cearly outlines the concept and what will be required from both parties to complete the project. It’s important to get everything written down so that responsibilites are clear and the rest of the process goes smoothly. Once both parties sign this document, we’ll move forward to the next step in the process.

 

Pre-Production

Planning

Using the statement of work as a guide, we’ll begin organizing the production days, securing locations, talent, crew, and everything else that’s required for filming. This part of the process is crutial for ensuriuring the production phase goes smoothly. It’s also the part of the process when the story evolves from a concept into something a bit more tangible. Our team will develop shot lists and other resources that go beyond looking at what the story is, but dive into how it will be told.

 

Production

Capturing the story

Now that all the groundwork is done, filming can begin. Our team will creatively and technically execute the plan that was established in pre-production.  

 

POST-Production

Cutting it all together

Next, we’ll take everything we captured in production and begin assembling it. As simple as this sounds, its a rather involved process of finding just the right moments and placing them in just the right places. It’s a highly creative process and there isn’t one specific way to do it. Every video is like a giant puzzle where the pieces can be put together in many different ways. Each piece doesn’t have just one spot, it can fit in dozens of spots, so it can be a time consuming process of experimentation to ensure the finished puzzle looks its best. Just as an example, we’ve had 2-3 minutes videos take 100+ hours of post-production to get them just right. In addition to the edit, every video will get a pass of color correction, color grading, sound editing, and sound mixing.

During the post-production process, you’ll have multiple opportunities to see the video’s progress and provide input to help shape the finished product.

 

Delivery

Passing the torch

Once the puzzle has been perfected, we deliver a digital video file via an online download link. The finished product is ready to be implemented on the platforms discussed in the early stages of the process.
